Who built this, and why
Calvadoo started as a personal frustration. Every "best SaaS tools" article recommends the same dozen tools regardless of your budget, role, or actual goals. And every recommendation just happens to be an affiliate link to the most expensive option.
We wanted something different: genuine recommendations, honest pricing comparisons (including free alternatives), and tools to actually help you cut your monthly spend — not increase it.
Stackcheck was the first product: a quick audit that tells you what you can cancel, what you can downgrade, and where you're paying twice for the same thing. The services came next — because sometimes the problem isn't the tools, it's having someone in your corner.
Calvadoo is built and run by a small team. We're bootstrapped and independent, which means our recommendations can stay honest.
